Terms of Service
By commissioning me, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
1. Requesting a Commission
You may submit a commission request by choosing the appropriate commission type and filling in the details of your request.
I may choose to decline your commission request at any time before accepting it, and for any reason. Typical reasons include feeling like the subject matter is outside my area of expertise, or that I am not comfortable drawing it. I am not obligated to disclose my reason(s) in the event that I decide not to accept your request.
I may propose an additional fee for complex designs.
I will NOT draw: mech, architecture, NSFW, furries, or harm
2. Payment
Payment must be received in full before I will work on your commission.
Do not make payment before I accept your commission request.
Payment must be made by paying the invoice that I send you through PayPal.
If you fail to pay within two weeks of when I accept your request, I may choose to terminate your commission.
Rather than asking for tip with payment, please consider making a donation separately from payment if you like my work a lot.
3. Review and Approval
I will share previews of my progress with you at certain stages of the creation process (rough sketch, line art, flat colors, final version candidate). You must review and approve these previews in a timely manner. If I do not receive any reply from you regarding the most recent preview for two entire weeks, I may choose to terminate your commission.
If you approve a preview, but then later decide that you want to change a detail that was already present in that preview, I may decline to make the change(s) or charge you an additional fee to be paid before work resumes. The fee amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis to reflect the estimated amount of additional work. For example, I will not change a character's pose after you approve the rough sketch preview.
4. Ownership
I grant you the rights to share and distribute your commissioned product for personal and/or private use. Please credit me by linking my Twitter page: https://twitter.com/ClaudiaKatsu
You may not claim that the commissioned product is your own creation.
If you wish to use the commissioned product commercially, such as for sale of printed media and other merchandise, you must indicate this in your commission request and an additional 50% of the commission price will be added to your total.
You may not substantially modify the commissioned product without my permission.
I retain all of my rights as the creator to use the commissioned product in any way I like. Such uses include, but are not limited to sharing the commissioned product on social media or featuring it in my portfolio.
I reserve the right to stream or otherwise share any portion of the creation process on any platform(s) of my choosing.
My work may not be used in relation with Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).
5. Duration of Work
I typically try to complete commissions within 2-3 weeks of accepting payment, but this is not guaranteed. If you have any special considerations, please tell me about them in your commission request.
If you are able to attend live streams where I work on your commission to provide feedback and approval, that can significantly speed up the process.
6. Miscellaneous
These terms may be updated periodically and without notice. It is your responsibility to check for updates before submitting a new commission request.
If some sort of trouble arises, such as not being able to reach an understanding with you regarding your desires for the commission, I reserve the right to terminate your commission mid-way. In such an event, I will refund a portion of the purchase price based on how much time I have already spent on it.
The commissioned product is purely digital. No physical product will be delivered.
